I set it to .75 even before reading this comment. But even at that speed, it still sounds rushed. And that's because the breathing pauses have been removed. Lessons learned: 1. Never remove breathing spaces - especially when you speed up narration. 2. A video title like "Intro to xyz in 7.34 min" will probably get more clicks because it includes a little joke.

Some un solocited advice. Dont try and cut corners just to fit your content into a time window. If the 5 minutes is that important. Spend some time organizing the content better. Quality over quantity. Forget about the algorithm. :)

I'm decent at figuring out the particulars if I have a basic understanding of what is where and how it functions - exactly what your video provided. Because of your video, I was able to get in there and start making things until I hit specific problems and then search for those particular answers. So, thanks for the quick overview!

Thank you for sharing so much knowledge so quickly. I think what other commenters didn't understand is that of course you're not going to really teach how to use something in 5 minutes, you're going to give a high level introduction to the app. But it was enough to get someone who has used any sort of layout or design program an idea of what this program is meant to do, and a general orientation.

Yeah of course! KZitem has settings in the bottom right corner of the videos you can adjust speed there. You can also always take on of my courses which go through things much slower and in more detail. You can find those in the description. Thanks for watching!

Even 2.4 Affinity Publisher is not matching InDesign. Converting files from InDesign to Publisher is a pain... No "Hide page" option. Liked or emdeddded images missing or change size...

hi! I think there may be a bit of a glitch in Publisher (V1) - unless I'm doing something wrong.. I'm designing a business card and am seeing a problem when zooming in.. I had downloaded a business card template and have rearranged it completely. This template had a front and rear side. On the rear side it has a background (white) fill layer - on top of this layer go the person's contact details. I changed the card's dimensions to fit my needs (85 x 55mm). And when I'm zoomed out all the rear side looks like it has a white background fill (as it should). Now the problem I see when zooming in with my Mac's trackpad is on the right and bottom sides' outskirts I can see the "boxes" canvas (as if those parts are transparent...). Is this really what is happening (a transparent background at those places), or is it just a "zoom-in glitch", and the background still has a white background fill, so I shouldn't worry about what I'm seeing while zoomed in? Thanks!!
@bendesignsmedia

Most likely just a glitch, only way to know for sure is to export it and check. But of course the only time it would show up even then is if you exported with a format that supports transparency (like PNG).
@nounix

Thanks for your reply! OK, so how would I check if these areas have become transparent? What would I see if I exported it in PNG format? I mean wouldn’t I have to have another surface below it in order to see if the transparency has been exported or not? By the way, do you have any idea how I can manually drag the fill layer to resize and reposition it the way I like? I’m asking because I see this layer with the fill I’m talking about, but this document was a ready business card template so I don’t know how to move around or resize this fill at all 😢 Last - and this is important - do you have any idea how I can export my affinity publisher document/project so that someone can take it from there using InDesign and edit it? (for that he would obviously need to see all the layers that I have been working on). Obviously, I mean with no extra software purchases. 😂
