Promise it's not. I ate better in jail than on $25 worth of food stamps a month.

My family waited 7 years for Section 8. A year after we moved in they decided to no longer be part of Section 8. Due to a mail SNAFU, we lost our coverage. We had to downgrade in the same complex. Oh, and HUGE surprise, when they did away with Section 8, all HELL broke loose. ALL of the crime went up. It was a mess. Still is. Thank God my mom and I were able to get out. Lost A LOT of things but we're safe now. Fountain Village/Mirabella Apartment Homes/Yardz On Kolb/Villas De Naranjas whatever y'all want to call yourselves, YOU SUCK!

We've been waiting 6 months now after doing All our paperwork n now waiting on a voucher from the City of Tucson with all of our stuff in storage 5 months of being homeless now and you can't called nobody when you call the center of Hope and they tell you not to call back that they'll call you when they're ready.. so how has this helped my wife with three strokes an I her husband / 24-hour caretaker. Doesn't help looking from the outside in and they don't even call to ask how you're doing or check your status no information is given at all once they give it to the City of Tucson the CENTER OF HOPE said.

Well, if something isn't done then most Americans will likely be homeless within the next decade. Welcome to corporatist USA - a grand dystopia in the making.

Brilliant! I love the fact that it would cost less than 30% of the person’s monthly income!!!! ACKNOWLEDGING the fact that people deserve a LIVABLE cost of living !!!! That is what Americas cost of living should be at.

5 years 100 apartments and cost??? Far too little. Many people are in need of affordable housing. Why not use abandoned homes and buildings?

This is nice. But,It just seems like itll be a matter of time before the druggies start ruining this place too. It always happens. Then the people with kids, and the ones that actually WANT to live "normal" productive lives will get sucked into the crap...then stuck. Its so sad...

Not bad at all. $13M to build 100 units, which is $130K on average. Not bad at all.

Nothing wrong with socialism for the rich. But socialism for the needy, and reaction is OMG. Lol. Anyways, nothing wrong with some element of socialism in the society. Key is the balance.
