You play better than me - & super pretty, too! I hate how this "spec" from Chinese guitar manufacturers of "full instrument length" of "41"" has made it into our lexicon because of uninformed buyers. The length of the instrument is completely unnecessary with regards to playability & setup. A lot of reviews of MIC guitars say they're "just as good" guitars, but that is totally not true. I have owned a few MIC guitars, and they, universally, need extensive work to make them playable. Fortunately, I have been playing for 27 years, and I can do my own repairs; every MIC guitar I have owned has needed a lot of work to be playable, and I'm glad I can do it. For a beginner, there are much better options out there. Phil McKnight's review of Enya also showed that he likewise needed to do a lot of work on the guitar to make it playable, and that was beyond what I would be willing to do.

Oh look another white boy trying to sound cool. 27 years playing and still can't (afraid) to setup a guitar? A real guitarists KNOWS and has PASSION in making sure he has his gear running great.

So I really want to get this guitar, but the make or break for me is a question that nobody has answered yet and it's about the battery. I know it's a rechargeable but when it inevitably dies how easily is it accessed? And is it a proprietary battery or can I find one easily?

The manual downloaded from the store page says it's an 18650 which is a pretty common form factor. It shows where the battery holder is, under the controller but it doesn't specifically mention that it's removable. It gives a few estimations on charge duration but I would think anyone performing would prefer to be able to swap it out for a charged one, if necessary. The quoted charge life is quite long but of course, that's for a new battery.

isn't the button for the strap interfering with the fretting hand when accessing higher frets? it seems to be exactly when my thumb would go... on both guitars :/

Maybe it is the recording environment, but neither guitars sound good at all. I know from previous videos that you are a very talented player, so I have to assume that the sound in this video is a result of recording environment...
