Thank you sooooo much for pulling me in! 😅Which I must admit you have done more than once! I will implement this starting this week and let you know how things go. Pray for me as I pray for you!

They really do mirror our energy. Before watching this I started taking the time out to start my day a certain way and it does set the tone and the children’s mood. Less time per subject and finding a curriculum they liked that was overwhelming does make them feel like they are achieving and making true progress. Thank you for all the optimism, tips and support.

I've already started using some of the websites you share and everything is surprisingly smooth. They actually wake up and get to it without me and that feels good.

@@AkeebaMazeI saw the short video about how you work and do homeschool. I'm curious about the curriculum you use. I've struggled to find credible curriculum he REALLY likes. I found a few that he does okay with but the other homeschool curriculum I've found are not ones I can afford yet. My son is 2nd grade, Texas. Thank you for choosing to share for the simple fact that you never know how many people not only need help but also feel a huge sense of peace and relief upon finding your material. Tiffany

Thank you! I always appreciate your videos as a new mom with 2 under 2 looking to homeschool. I'm wondering what your thoughts or recommendations are for toddlers and if you can do a video on preschool. Ive heard some people say children at this age are best left to play and do formal learning around 6 but then I also see a lot of people doing circle time and starting formal learning earlier. My oldest who is only 2 already shows an interest in reading and tries to mouth out words on a page. Im wondering if I should start the how to teach your child to read workbook with her next year when she turns 3. Ive heard some children can start to read as early as 3. Thank you again for your passion and content on homeschooling. You are changing lives. ❤

Hi! Some children can start at 3.5, it really will depend on how he progresses. But I think 4 is a great time to start. Only because there’s so much to explore with a 2-3 year old besides formal reading lessons. For example you can focus on him learning vocabulary words but reading a lot. I’ll try to do a series on this in January

Thanks for "pulling us in", lol. 😂 I started off with workbooks and gradually worked in a structured curriculum for core subjects. We love Generation Genius for their Science curriculum. A lot of helpful tips. I'm adding another student to our homeschool and I was getting a little anxious. Thank you!

Wow! This came through right as I’m working on our lessons for the week and it could not have come at a better time. I have been that one trying to fit in everything and sometimes feeling frustrated because the children loose interest. The tips are very helpful. I will definitely put myself on the time limit. I have that in my schedule however I always seem to go over the time and I feel like we haven’t covered as much as I wanted to. So you have assisted me a lot. Thank you😊

Akeeba, CK is an amazing resource! We started using it from your recommendation and basically use it the same way! For science and social studies we use the student readers and the worksheets. We're also using some of the language arts to supplement and it's been really fun! I pick and choose the activities to fit my kids' needs.

My kids are currently in virtual school via K12 for the third year in a row. Let me tell you it is tough! It takes alot of time and commitment. Students have classwork AND homework in every subject DAILY! It is VERY time consuming and my kids are completely burnt out. I'm trying to figure out if doing regular homeschooling would be a better option, so that we can set our own schedule. Currently, they are in classes from 7:30 am until 1:30 pm. After school there is atleast 2 hrs of homework to complete. We are all exhausted. I just don't know what to do at this point. SMH
