AFGHANI CHICKEN BIRYANI RECIPE :
INGREDIENTS:
Chicken 1 kg
Rice 750 grams
Onion 2 cups
Cream 1 cup
Mix all spices 2 tbsp
Salt 2 tsp
Butter 100 grams
Ginger, garlic 1 tbsp
Green chilies 10
Yogurt 250 grams
Coriander 1 bunch
Mint 1 bunch
Kewra essence few drops
Salt 2 tsp
Tomatoes 4
Clarified butter 1 cup
Food color as needed
Method:
Soak the rice. Heat water in a pot and add salt and hot spices. When it boils, add the soaked rice. If a grain remains, strain it and separate it. To make biryani spice, brown the onions in clarified butter and remove. Fry hot spices and then green chilies in the same clarified butter. After that add ginger, garlic, and chicken and fry it. Now add curd, cream, and salt and cover it. Add tomatoes, green coriander, mint, and green chilies when the chicken is cooked. Add rice, curry powder, fried onion, and a little yolk color on top, and keep it for 20 minutes. Afghani Chicken Biryani is ready.
