Funny how everthing modern is "European" since you don't even know History and how modern Architecture , science , Botanic , mathematics ,Botanics , language , philosophy got there.. It's tiring to hear ethnocentric youtubers comments. It's not because in last centuries Europe dmoniated the world that they've invented everything Modern Architecture and civilisation is a mix bagged of all former civilization culture and knowledge. Even the trousers you're wearing comes from china's and eastern culture when Europeans wore robes..! Thousands years of civilisation dominated by Eastern civilisations erased . But only last century remembered This is disrespectful. We really have to change this ethnocentric way of thinking.

@@Yanzdorloph I am talking about how big cities were modern in the 70's. And we had a better lfe and were richer than average french. And china was starving and making children work for Nike. Then things gone down.. I've lived and experienced that back in the days. South Korea became proserous only because of MASSIVE u.s investments. It's a political strategy. Tangier is quite famous actually, it's considered a mecca for artists and there's a long list of notorious Writers, musicians, and painters who lived there for inspiration, the likes of Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones, Mark Twain, Daniel Defoe, Paul Bowles, Tennessee Williams, Eugène Delacroix, Henri Matisse and the list goes on. A Little side fact is that Tangier is home to the only American history landmark outside the USA, and the first American diplomatic public property outside of the United States as well, It's called the American ligation of Tangier and it used to be an embassy of the US in Morocco in the 1800s since morocco was the first country to recognize US independence and the two countries have a long diplomatic relationship and the longest unbroken treaty in US history called "the treaty of friendship", the building was built in moorish moroccan style and was gifted by Sultan Selmane of morocco to the United States in 1826 and is now a museum.

According to Islamic heritage sources, Al-Buraq was also a ride way for the Prophet Abraham when he was visiting his wife Hagar and his son Ismail. The Prophet Abraham lived in Palestine with his wife Sarah, and Al-Buraq used to transport him to Mecca to see his family and bring him back to Palestine. It was mentioned in the book Fath Al-Bari by Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani. From the hadith of Abu Juhaym: “Ibrahim used to visit Hajar every month on Al-Buraq in the morning, and he would come to Mecca and then come back and take a nap in his house in the Levant.” This information is from Wikipedia.

Nice video fella. But I couldn't help myself but to correct you about Phoenicians and Romans. they were never there. Phenicians and cartagenians stayed in Tunisia. Even the Ottomans stopped in Algeria. Roma and North Africa had ups and downs in what matters politics, sometimes allies and sometimes there were confrontations

Thanks! They were both there, on the internet there are many sites stating their presence and even archeological sites in Morocco. Apparently Berbers even had some rituals and beliefs that were influenced by Carthaginians (punic people)

"Morocco later became a realm of the Northwest African civilisation of ancient Carthage, and part of the Carthaginian empire. The earliest known independent Moroccan state was the Berber kingdom of Mauretania, under King Baga.[40] This ancient kingdom (not to be confused with the modern country of Mauritania) flourished around 225 BC or earlier. Mauretania became a client kingdom of the Roman Empire in 33 BC. Emperor Claudius annexed Mauretania directly in 44 AD, making it a Roman province ruled by an imperial governor (either a procurator Augusti, or a legatus Augusti pro praetore)"

@@JumpingPlaces There is a lot of things that has been said. Carthage iutself is a berber state. At that time and even still now. It's a conglomeration of ancient tribes (kind of similar, like cousins) that agree or not with whoever had good ideas to lead or to unite for good causes for the population of course. It was not as simple as they narrated. Tribes were always on and off depends on decisions from the governing entities. What you see in Tangier is some spanish influences. Carthage and all that is very old story that is not very credible, it depends who narrates. Most accurate history written about the mediterranean region is in Italy and Greece, mostly Italy.

Inspired by your vblog, we are taking the trip to Morocco in November. Did you buy the CTM bus ticket from Tangier to Chefchaouen online in advance or did you buy it at the bus station? How much was the taxi ride from Tangier Medina to the Tangier CTM Bus station?

Nice video. There is a bar/cafe in each bullet train in Morocco. You were both behind it, it was called Cafeteria. They must have announced it in French. Nice video.
