We catch up with Longleat lead keeper, Polly Yeo, who travelled out to Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in Kenya earlier this year to learn more about the important surveillance work that goes into looking after the wild populations of black and white rhino in Lewa and the neighbouring Borana Conservancy.
Lewa is home to 14% of Kenya’s black rhino population. Conservancies such as this are vitally important to protect and preserve these species into the future.
