Cornmeal or polenta is what we refer to as "posho" or "ugali". Kalo is millet bread. It as to be ground very fine then mixed with cassava flour that is also ground fine to give it a smoother taste. Ugali/posho is eaten by alot of people in both Uganda and Kenya but I am not sure if kalo (millet bread) is eaten across the borders.

Oh! It's like Nigerian amala. So annoying to make because you have to get rid of lumps by mixing vigorously but it tastes good. It's slightly bitter but pairs well with soup. I'll have to try kalo soon to know if it tastes better.

What do you make Amala from? Kalo is cassava flour mixed with millet flour. This gives it a slightly sweet taste because of the cassava.

I am so proud of you🎉🎉🎉🎉. This is the exact same lifestyle in Haiti, yet being too close to North America, we have grown to be ashamed of it. We have despised our culture resuling in much corruption. This is real wealth!!!! We in Haiti have come to believe wealth is about how much money you have or the ability to live a lavish life based on exploitation. The world needs to know that this is real life, eating organic, healthy food, breathing fresh air, bathing in springs or rivers, drinking real coconut water, and drinking natural healing tea. This is wealth! Jesus, please return to restore humanity and remove nonsense sin, corruption, and abomination...
