You've hit the nail on the head. We Nigerian's think one man is the problem..ie our leaders. If we got a honourable man as a leader, that changes nothing until we as Nigerian's change our mindset and how we treat one another.

I am a Nigerian born and bred in the uk. I've lived in Ghana with my son for 13 yrs. I refused to start a business which entailed managing staff, because I didn't want the stress. I have property which i get my income from It has allowed me to live a comfortable lifestyle and send my son to a very good international school. It Is a passive income and the only person I have working for me is a cleaner who is a godsend. I spend my days in the gym and doing what I want.

Hi Phrankleen, nice to be here. I was born and raised in the UK and lived there all my life. I relocated to live in Nigeria 8 years ago. You are right. I own 2 Companies here in Nigeria. It is not easy! Keep up the good words of wisdom.

Phrankleen! You are a man that understands what INTEGRITY means. I can’t stand this bs that we do. I’m Kenyan living in the UK and the first time I went to Nigeria I was like ahhhh I see why the aggression. In Kenya they tried it with me I said don’t try that rubbish with me to a policeman. We have to do better! Keep it coming Brother👏🏾👏🏾 How do we expect to have stability when our characters are questionable? Make it make sense

These are facts brother, most Nigerians are corrupt minded and it’s not just the leaders,it’s a societal epidemic,I have stopped keeping Nigerian friends here in the US because most are toxic,I’m a Nigerian and I had that toxic mentality too but I chose to clean up and now it’s easy for me to spot the infected ones a mile away,it’s sad.

I had to share this video as well. You are right on point! These are words I tell my family back home. Nigerians are the problem of the country not the government. Where does the goveverment come from? From the people as well. Only when each of us starts to change his/her way of thinking/ vibration to an high frequency shall we see changes or else we will continue to suffer...

We Nigerians do not trust ourselves to hold ourselves accountable so we go abroad to have others hold us accountable. The equivalent of wanting to be fit, not trusting yourself to not eat the food in your house so you make yourself homeless.

You nailed it. You can't stress this enough, I have always told people within my circle for years, that the politicians are not the problem, it has always been the people.

Thanks for talking about this and bringing this to some of our attention. I usually pay with cash when in Nigeria simply because I don't trust those people not to mess with my CC.

Another honest analysis of the African mindset! I am a vistim myself! I have a farm in Nigeria and recently found out my Farm manager had been selling animals behind my back! He sold over 100 pigs before I caught up to his dastardly act!!! These people are just deceitful no matter how well you treat them! I pay the School fees of this man's child, the fanilies of all my staff have free medicals yet they all connived to steal from me! It's so disheartening!!!!

100% facts…. As a business owner in Nigeria, when doing your SWOT analysis, the human/employees should be considered threats and treated as such.

My Dad was in the US and hired a bricklayer that he had known for decades to build his house in Nigeria. It turned out that the bricklayer was siphoning money to build himself 2 bungalow houses for himself. My dad trusted him but failed to verify. The house was poorly built too. There was absolutely no accountability.

It's such a shame that we self sabotage. We are our own worst enemies, and it's really frustrating , keep up the good work 👏
