OP: "You don’t love me...." Dad: Immediately slaps him and later disowns him for no reason. Way to prove his point...

Story #1: The parents are only mad because their reputations have now been ruined. There's absolutely no excuse for the disparity in attention that was given to the two children. And OP's father is literally the worst of the worst with that garbage excuse of how boys don't need as much attention. Why exactly does OP need to be the one to learn the hard lesson of struggling while the daughter gets everything handed to her for free?

Story 1: I'm really concerned at what OP's parents (read: Father) told the sister. I'm getting a worrying feeling that the father may be one of those guys who hate other men out of jealousy of the attention they get from women/girls, even in their own family so as soon as he got the daughter he wanted, he started to slowly (at best) hate OP. Story 2: You know that old saying: "When someone shows you who they are, believe them." And what the bride clearly showed was that she's racist and wouldn't be shocked if she was just looking for a reason to exclude OP.

I disagree, I just think forgiveness shouldn’t mean everything goes back to how it used to. Forgiveness is to let go of anger and resentment towards someone. That doesn’t mean you become friends or family again. You can forgive someone and still walk away. It only means you don’t harbor bad feelings for them anymore, not that you like them again. That’s why forgiveness is underrated actually. Forgiving people will always be the best for you, because living with hatred and resentment is almost never good for your life and health. Is better to forgive and let go, so you can move on. If you don’t forgive you can never move on. That’s why forgiveness is necessary.
@lindah3803

Overrated and usually bites the forgiver in the butt. In this story, OP is All To Eager to minimize how he was treated by his sister. To willing to sweep everything she said and had done too him under the rug. Personally, I can't relate to even the thought of forgiving the words or actions of someone who was supposed to love me. No matter if it's family or friend.

The fact that the sister didn't want to be "the golden child" is very disturbing, but not on her behavior, but the parents behavior. If the child didn't ask for it, then it is some disturbing behavior on the parents' part. The usual spoiled girl behavior is absolutely typical, but the fact they had the money and refused to help him with college was absolutely out of line. The parents were LYING about "paying the op back", because they were humbled by their families. I have little doubt the father was disowned by his own family. The fact that they father has been pretty much "disowned" by everyone is absolute evidence that the father has/had *_a very unhealthy relationship with his daughter!!!_*
