After 15 years of Tinnitus: This is what I learned
The best thing we can do is learn to habituate to our tinnitus. Habituation means that you no longer experience your tinnitus as something bothersome, your brain stops tagging it as something dangerous, and you can start to experience it without being bothered by the ringing, hissing, or whatever your tinnitus sound might be. That leads to tinnitus going more and more into the background and eventually it will stop bothering you. My program and 500+ people with tinnitus are my evidence.
