Love the challenge. When doing challege if needing additional pillows or blankets to transition is always an option. My second suggestion for side sleepers look up positions for sleeping on the floor to prevent sore shouldef or hips in the beginning.... if they are implement it really does end up helping

We have a product called Japanese floor mattress, which is specially designed for people who like to sleep on the floor. The thickness is specially designed according to the Japanese mattress. It is not very thick, nor is it so soft that you feel your body will collapse into it when you lie down. It can fit the body curve very well and can relieve back pain to a certain extent. for my experience i slept on the floor for 7 days now on two workout mat and a blanket. I sleep by both right and left side because i still can't sleep on the back. My sleep is not too good or too bad for now (i usually sleep 7/8 hours on the bed, now i sleep like 6:30/7:30 h) but when i wake up i still want to sleep because the floor is being comfortable ahahah. For the next week i will remove one workout mat, then the other and in future i have to try to sleep on my back (paralysis demon experience)

Workout mats and pillows between legs to keep your back supported can help. Also look into positions to help ease hip over hip and shoulder over shoulder. I did and it helped quite a bit when i was commited

Also forgot.... depending on the season and tempetature you might need different things. In winter i use extra blanket with workout mat w usual blankets verses summer i typically dont use excerise mat and either just a blanket folded in half or a sheet with a light blanket- dependant on temperature and season. Hope it helps

I sleep on the carpet on the floor, and my motivation was to follow the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, who also slept on the floor. And certainly the benefits are greater than what you say. 🙂
