Lesson learned about this area. Aspen - Rifle - Eagle -- If one is down, try one other; if two are down, the third probably will be too. I was surprised that after all 3 were down and you went missed that you didn't have another in your back pocket. Grand Junction was a good choice and would have been an immediate for me. I flew out of COS and ABQ for a number of years so mountain weather was always in my checklist. Love watching your videos. Remind me of flying a Citation with somebody that we just "mind-melded" much like you and John do. What a treat. I'm getting too old for it now but it was sure fun back in my day. Fly safely and God bless!

I enjoyed the vlog Shaun. Gets scary flying through the mountains in the soup. The landing looked great 👍 I enjoyed it as always. I never get tired of riding along in the cockpit when you guys are flying and landing. You both appeared in control and confident. A well balanced cockpit for sure. Great views outside. I’m glad you decided to upload this video.

After a solid miss it's always nice to find yourself between those layers on the way to the REAL alternate, isn't it? Good to see you scrambling for that unanticipated approach at KGJT. That's always the toughest part after any miss. Good job with your priorities. Praise the Lord these days are few and far between, for some of us....Pay no attention to this northern tier freight dog but it looked like another typical day to me!

Last time I was in GJT, I heard this announcement over the PA that the terminal security personnel were gonna be on break for a bit and that gates would be closed for a short time. Pretty informal place at the time. Of course, right down the main drag there was a pretty sweet monument to visit. Nice flight in. Landing looked smooth. Hope you enjoyed your time.

I don't know if this question has ever been asked, but, let's say there is someplace(s) in the world you aren't comfortable going to then what? Example, I wouldn't want to go to Brazil with its "spotty" ATC in the country's interior. Are you able to "opt out" of a particular location or do you have to just suck it up and go anyway?
