Today, I’m putting the Queens Park Swizzle to the test, because I only recently found out that the original was not made from a Trinidad Rum. In fact this cocktail predates Rum being made on Trinidad. So in actual fact, the original rum was more like a Demerara Rum from Guyana, which will make this an entirely different cocktail. However, we don’t stop there, because, while in BBR remixed, it does say Demerara, Martin Cate in SC has actually called for a Black Blended Rum. So which rum works the best, well thats what we’re going to find out today.
