You asked about the refrigerator bins. I bought a set and have found they really enhance refrigerator storage. First, I use them for holding fresh meat and or meat I have pulled from freezer to thaw. Doing that, I no longer need to worry about drips from packages happening. Next, I use them to hold soda cans and bottles of water. Very helpful to keep drinks from being knocked around in the refrigerator. Finally, I use them to hold fresh produce, Right now, mine is holding celery, cucumbers, peppers. You can see what you have in stock, and pull out the container for prepping. The interior of my refrigerator is so much cleaner now. In addition, I have a lazy susan that holds my pickled condiments. We love different types of pickles, and I can turn them to see which I want. So, feel free to try them. They have also served as pantry organizers and drawer organizers. Very versatile.

Hello Becky. I love your channel. You have such a wonderful bubbly personality. Did you know you could easily make your own potting mix for seed starting by using a big compressed bag of peat moss and a big bag of vermiculite. Ratio of about 3:1. And then sterilize it yourself by pouring boiling water over it. Then when you go to up pot your little seedlings you can add amendments like worm castings or fertilizers. You can save a lot of money by mixing up your own. I know you’re no longer practicing but I too am a dental hygienist that loves to grow my own food. Happy gardening this season. 😃

Hi Becky, I love shopping at Costco, too! In response to your question about growing potatoes from store bought organic potatoes, I have done this once before but I would not recommend doing it. While those potatoes grew they were not virus free and all my plants died from a blight virus which can stay in the soil for up to 7 years. Always use certified virus free seed potatoes. (Once you grow these you can save your own seed potatoes.). Lesson learned the hard way… :)

I've got an interesting natural gardening hack that helps with slugs, caffeine as in brewed coffee not grounds. I know grounds are typically used but they work best for the soil once broken down in the compost pile or bin. The best thing to do is to brew your nice strong coffee & once you're done just brew the grounds again. You can then spray or pour it in the soil around your plants. The reason it's so effective is because a 1-2% caffeine solution will repell & kill slugs usually getting rid of them completely within 48 hrs. Brewed coffee generally has a 5% caffeine concentration & you'll get another 2.5% when you brew the grounds a 2nd time. You just keep an eye out for slug activity & if you see any you just repeat which is pretty easy considering most people have coffee every day. It also keeps other pests out just don't spray it directly on foliage or it might keep insects away that you want in your garden.

Hi Becky, just wanted to mention since you like white towels but can't use bleach with your septic system - please try oxiclean! I went to culinary art school and oxiclean kept my chef whites brilliant white, even after getting blood, chocolate, wine, and all manner of food stains on them. I'd add a generous amount of oxiclean to the water with my jackets, pants and aprons, and stir it up until it was mostly dissolved. The next morning (or a few hours later), I'd just pop the whole bucket into the wash after pouring out the excess water. Worked like a charm. Other students were using bleach and their whites were yellowing by the end of the year. I always pre-soaked my whites, either in the washing machine or in a big bucket.

In the frig one the first shelf I have long narrow bins across the whole shelf...one for jellies, one for condiments, pickled onions ,hot peppers, pickels, sour cream . Second shelf I have a circular spinning thingys to hold the large artichoke jars and the herring and my fermented veges. Two egg holders and another big light weight bin for my insulin. From Walmart I have a drawer that attaches to the shelf above for cold cuts. I precut carrts and celery and they share a cheap plastic rectangle. I stack a few of them with salade greens. Botton shelf from target not meant for food but it holds my weeks worth of celery, carrot zuchini, cucumbers, asparagus etc. as one of vege drwaer is full of ADLI cheeses, american cheeses cream cheese, Licettli and the other holds nuts. all the containers help me fit tons more in my frig as well as giving me access to all. I no longer waste anything.

Love the collapsible laundry bags. We set up a heavy duty plastic shelf in the laundry area and use them for clean folded laundry. Each child has their own and they can easily bring them up themselves. Makes laundry much easier now.

I ALWAYS shop the organic produce section of my store to plant in my garden. I do this with potatoes of all varieties, garlic & yams/sweet potatoes for growing my slips. In fact, I grow my potatoes in old tires. I start them in the center of 1 tire & add soil, then add soil & tires as needed up to 5 tires high. This method makes harvesting so easy. I have grown my sweet potatoes in old coolers & they were fantastic. You harvest them when the plant starts dying. Love your channel. You are just like I was 30 years ago, except I had 2 kids to feed.

I have 2 sets of those clear bins but don't use them for the fridge. I leave them out, lined up, on our snack counter. And they keep all the granola bars, chip bags, oatmeal packets, etc nice and tidy! They are pricey for a set of 4... but have been useful!

Yes, for sure about the invasive roots...especially since she has a septic tank. I planted ours in a "wet" area of our yard, well away from our septic tank.

Absolutely this! We had one when I was growing up. They are gorgeous, but you definitely want to put it in a wet low spot, far away from the house sewer & water pipes and the garden because it will sponge up water from the soil. They have deep roots and surface roots that will damage sidewalks, etc. too. They have a huge root structure and grow very fast. My grandfather grew a new one by just cutting a twig and starting it in the dirt like a plant. They are also a magnet for aphids and other bugs that require treatment that you don't want near an organic garden. I love this channel. Becky really does have a good community.

The everything bagel seasoning is amazing! My daughter and I both sprinkle it on our rice. I also put it on salad and on my eggs. And when I make nachos, sometimes we will sprinkle just a little over the nachos. The fridge organizer depends on how you and Josh use the fridge. They would be great for me. I love everything organized and knowing exactly where things are. My husband and daughter just put everything willy nilly and would not use the organizers effectively. I am team Kitchen Aid. I have never used a Bosch. But I used to have a KitchenAid, got it 2nd hand, had it for 10+yrs. Gave it to my friend when I moved bc she needed one and I wasn't baking much anymore. Now I am saving up to buy one again bc my daughter has so many food allergies I am having to make any baked goods for her at home. I have had other brands and they just don't compare.

😂 Yes I have all of those refrigerator organizers. I bought the one you're looking at, at Costco two sets of them during the holidays and I also went to The Container Store and spent $200 and bought some more organizers and people don't like to use them, so you're going to be the one setting them up and keeping them organized. If you cook a lot it gets tiring I don't cook a lot so it always looks pretty in my fridge🤗.

I use my organizers in my fridge and in my pantry. They're nice to keep smaller items from getting pushed to the back. I have one that has all of my homemade Chinese ingredients, and I have one for my cartons of egg whites from Costco. You get the idea. I have both the shorter and taller ones for my pantry to keep like items together. I use the taller ones for bottles of vinegar, oils, sauces, etc. I got all of mine off of Amazon. They have bundles you can get for a fairly good price. One set came with an egg storage, and I use that to put my hard-boiled eggs in so it wouldn't be a wasteful spend.

I have some of those all-clad towels, and it might sound silly, but they are the nicest kitchen towels I've ever owned, they're so thick and absorbent and after almost a year of cleaning up spills in my kitchen they still look really nice.

The peanut butter powder is something I use for smoothies. It works so well! I also use it for oatmeal too because it’s all the flavor with so many fewer calories. I don’t think you would regret it other than if you can make it yourself. I’m not sure how they make it. 🤔

I love peanut butter in my smoothies! The powder is great because you get so much more and can easily mix it. The only thing with the one at Costco is the extra ingredients and sugar. I’d get the one that is just peanuts. I love how you check prices by the pound vs what’s on the tag. It helps so much to shop that way or by unit price. I can’t wait to have my home stocked to the point where I don’t shop too often like you! 🤗🤗🤗🤗 oh yeah, everything bagel seasoning is so delicious on avocados!

Becky I have the industrial kitchen aid mixer with most of the attachments and I have the Bosch mixer with all the attachment. With the large volume of dough you make I can guarantee you need the Bosch. They do have more power and can hold enough dough for 9 loaves of bread.
