Yes it was very comfortable. However, you’d have to go on a trip with plenty of trees along the route and maybe take a tarp to protect from rain.

I have a question running into my head since I watched your great return from Shanghai videos. Isn't the rigid fork + road bike position a pain in the ass (and in the hands also) ? I mean, on good asphalt there is no problem but you rode hundreds of kilometers of dirt track with rock eveywhere...

I’ve not had any issues. Would rather sacrifice a bit of comfort for more speed on the good roads.
