Not sure is the comments are still answered, but... Why do we need a PLATINUM wire electrode for the electrophoresis? What exactly will happen if one replaces this to an ordinary Copper wire electrode?

Probably is a dumb question, but I make anyway: When you show that there are sequences repeted more in one allele and less in another, and you show the electrophoresis run, are you showing a how REP PCR products run on the Gel? Simply, did you use a REP-PCR as example to explain agarose gel? (Sorry for my bad english ) Thank you

Circular migrates most. Then linear and then the circular nicked migrate the least.

@@colemimiralte7025 it's a fact . May be you are confusing this with battery cell, there cathode is positive but here it's negative . Definition of cathode is where reduction takes place.
