I realize KZitem is responsible but I can’t even listen to lovely reading like this to sleep! Commercials every few minutes! I realize the need but geez! Lovely narrator.

What do you mean, no adverts? I've just seen 2 in the first 10 minutes. Too bad. I love Agatha Christie and I love John Moffatt's narration, but I can't stand the ads.

I love John Moffat reading a Miss Marple! I thought he only read Poirot!! Such an interesting rendition, and so thoroughly explored and realised. I find other presenters read the narrator in their own voice without emphasis or consideration, and rather dully, rather than fully in character, and this disappoints and often irritates greatly. This rendition has real feeling in every aspect, and is the closest to how I'd read it in my head (but only much better, thankfully). Each character, including the narrator's distinctly has their own full life with absolute consideration to their own back story.. Thank you Mr Moffat for your artistic skill, interpretation, consistency and, most importantly, intellect!! Truly it has been a pleasure to discover this gem of a work.

The premise that identical twins - from the same egg - could have different genetic characteristics is implausible. It does however tie in with Christie's eugenic bent.
