Their music gets even better with age. I don't use the word underrated often, but Agent Orange deserves as much recognition as Bad Religion and Social Distortion, if not more.

When I listen to "Living In Darkness" I imagine the artists, after having finished the album, looking at each other, with a sense that what they had created was something very important. It truly is underrated. "Living In Darkness" is a masterpiece

skating has changed, made 2 comebacks at 35 and 40, to find out that the brotherhood we had back in the 80-90 has died. Back in the day you could be who ever you were, skaters were friends all over the globe. Now it's a more competitive and individual sport. Actualy I think the big change started back in the early 90 with the introduction of those skinny almost freestyle boards and switch stance.. Skaters from the 80' were different from skaters of the 90', it has lost it roots

Neither did I ever live in Southern California, nor did I grow up in the late70s/early80s but this kind of Punkrock is in my DNA! Agent ORange, D.I., Adolescents, TSOL, Social Distortion, Circle Jerks, Black Flag, Angry Samoans, China White, Wasted Youth...the list goe on and on.so much great shit!

Got to see Angry Samoans the new generation a few times. Wish that you could have been there. Great times and great music. I grew up many years beyond hardcore punk and feel that it’s in my blood too. Forget the older generations telling you that you can’t relate, if you feel it, you fucking feel it and go for what you feel. No one can stop you but yourself.

mine a variflex untill it broke, and got my first real board, a vision joe johnson, still love that arabic style graphics. Best board I ever had, wore it down to the absolute limit of getting un skateable. After that I bought a sims jeff philips at munster 86 a big mistake. An orher geat deck I remember was the 89 powel tommy guererro, the 90 bucky lasek.

@@stevehirsch8413 yeah the lance mountain mini, the ones they made in XT were nice boards for street. I had a ripper in that era. Also enjoyed the Roskop street a lot, had like 2 or 3 in a row. I've always been a street dude, no ramps around at that time to realy learn how to skate vert. Now a days every town has a decent sk8park. Damm that came 35 years late 😭

Used to Skate on a shortboard at Age 8 at Swift Cantrell in Georgia. I remember hearing 2 30 year old guys blasting this, and I sorta liked it at the time. This song wants me to learn skateboarding again. Thank you, Agent Orange.

One of my very first skate memories. I was just a clueless kid who listened to horrible music. My friend Jimmy Bagby had the Skate Visions video and put this in. The skating and Agent Orange totally blew my young mind. Was my intro to Skate / Surf punk and changed my life forever.

this album, moreso than any other punk (or otherwise really) album i listened to thirty years ago, still gets weekly plays. i never would've imagined back then how integral it'd be in my life, it's timeless and somehow just gets better. amazing.

My call name in just about every platform is A World Gone Mad, this is perhaps my favorite song from high school. I truly loved this punk group and they were a favorite of mine for decades. .Effing great lyrics.... this is one of those bands that influenced a ton of punk bands, but those bands will never admit where that Orange County sound came from.... Hey..sometimes you lie to me, sometimes I lie to you...there isn’t a thing we can possibly do..... I miss the 80s
