Welcome Back DCO Nation. Early Fall Sept morning in Murrells Inlet started out as a very promising day. The sun was coming up, the tide was going out and the bite was on early.
I started with a Yo-Zuri Top Knocker in Ghost Shad. I worked it for about 20 minutes with no Luck. I then switched over to a Vudu Shrimp (Cajun pepper with Chartreuse tail) and applied the sweet juice of ProCure. I floated up on a Creek mouth and that began my day with 3 flounder. I target creek mouths for the deep hole they produce during the ebb and flow of the tide.
I crossed the main channel to another creek and caught 2 more flounder and short Trout. AS I moved around Murrells Inlet I picked off 3 more flounder along grass lines and one flat. I did have one bonus fish. A Black Bass gulped my Slam shady after I was hung up in the oysters.
Fun day. Target the creek mouths and you should have success. And as always, Subscribe, Like and leave a comment. Below are the links of everything I used to day.
