I was watching another lay 10/4 don't pass strategy that wasn't nearly as aggressive, so I kind of chuckled when you said we're not going to be too aggressive here and 2 seconds later we somehow have $929 on the table rofl made me chuckle a little.

@Colorup, Thank you for all you do to show us new players the game of craps. I made it to Reno this weekend and jumped in with confidence. Played pretty conservative to start and had some nice dealers to help. On my second session I had about a 20 roll turn hitting the point three times. I also hit (4) fours and made some big money for a guy at the other end of the table. He gave me $25. Reno had $15, 25 and 50 tables at the tables I saw.

Great video again :). One time on a floating casino off the coast of North Carolina in international waters in 2006, I was writing down the rolls on a piece of paper. The paper said: "The 10 was missed 72 times - which is 4 times passed the statistics. So I started betting $20 on the 10 roll. The 7 rolled 2 more times. I asked the Pit Boss about the dice: "The 10 has not shown up in almost 100 rolls - do you think that is a problem?" . . . . My next bet was LAY $200 on the 10 - the 7 hit.. . .

Hey Color Up!!! I'm James love the video!!! I've since adapted the strategy a little bit, but this is the idea! Glad it worked early in the video because it is a bit boring when the point is not 4 or 10!! Let's hope I would have had the discipline to walk at up $500! haha

That video hurts for low rollers like me to watch. However, as you stated, it could work on a $25 table and I’m assuming on a 15 $10 or even a f$5 table. As a Passline player, I agree it makes you sweat when the points is a 4 or 10. Nice video!

Perhaps a better idea is to Go DNP on the come out hoping for a 4/10. Cover the yo. If you don't get it, place that number for enough to break even. THEN pay the vig to get paid 1 for 2.

I like the general idea...but too much risk too little reward...is the weakness of this strategy imo. Using box numbers as a hedge sucks out profit too much, and the advantage of 4 hits on the box numbers and then a 7 out does happen, but not enough. I'd prefer to change it up one of two ways. One is make it a 3-point Molly if there is no 4 or 10 rolled. So if, say, an 8 is rolled, make 1x odds bet, place bet in don't come, then if a 5 is rolled, make 2x odds bet, place another don't come, if a 4 is rolled, bet accordingly to this strategy. If a 4 or 10 is rolled on the second roll, make it a two point molly. If the fist roll is a 4/10, make it a one-point molly. Anyway, Stop there with the usually full odds bet on the 4 and hedge with the hard 4 if one is inclined. Let it run out. Another way I'd change it up is to hedge the come out roll on the don't pass, which would be my only hedge. Since we are risking $100 on the biggest weakness of don't bet which is the come out (if a point is established, it changes to the strongest bet on the table by the way), so on the come out roll I'd hedge with, say, three $7 hop bets (a total of $21) on the three possible 7 combinations (4-3/3-4, 5-2/2-5, and 6-1/1-6). In which we would get back $105+$7 for a come out 7. So it would be a total of $121 risked on the come out roll, if a 7 comes, you lose $9 instead of $100. I figure the 11 can be counteracted with the 1-1 and 2-1,1-2 roll. That would be the only hedge for me.

Interesting thoughts there's definitely different ways to make this work without having too too much money at risk and getting crushed on the come out roll or something.

If you lay 40 on the 4 and 10 put 5 dollars on the hard four and five dollars on the hard ten then if the four or ten rolls you have a one in three chances to cover your lay bet. If the four or ten rolls and it is not a hard four or ten put ten on the hards again. if either one falls again put twenty on the hard number that fell, if that falls put 40 on your hard 4 or 10 again., if that falls put 80 on the hards keep doubling till eventually you hit your hard. A hard four or ten should roll one out of three times a four or ten is rolled.

too much risk for too little return on4-10....The 6-8 bets make little sense at this level when they could have been 60 each for little added money. the Hardway hedge is also too light when 100 would have shown a profit if it hits and only 25 more than the original hedge. I prefer the Dark to light strategies that take advantage of the longer rolls.

Too much at risk. Lay the 4 and 10 for 100 each (can only lose one of them) and place the inside for 3 units each. If you get knocked off the 4 or 10 take down the inside and double the lays, 200 each wait for the seven. Isolates the 4 and 10 as the only two numbers to lose and the 7 is great for recovery. 24 hit combos vs 6 losing combos.
