It is Brian Blessed - but it could be Matt Berry. Pretending it is Matt Berry makes it much more fun.

An excellent documentary. The narration was well done, with the re-enactors providing historically accurate portrayal for the period.

I’ve heard that Benjamin Franklin wanted to field archers because archers had a greater range and rate of fire than muskets.

I’ve heard that fastest musket fire was 3 in a minute. 10 arrow shots in one minute. Whoa!

The physcological effect of barbed tipped arrows had to be extreme. However I doubt there were many American men of the time who could draw and shoot a 140 to 180 pound war bow like those used at Agincourt or Towton. Those Welch and Englishmen trained archery from an early age.

It was an informative and wonderful historical coverage episode about the Agincourt battle at 1415 between French contingent and British invaders... where long bow combating proved theirs superiority in battlefields.... what was notable from 1060 forward English used several advanced tactics and more modern devices against French.. they gained victories ✌️...long bow was not only one
