As stupid as it sounds, they should make pads that can be used with harnesses so that you practice while marching without making as much noise as the actual drums. So those damn neighbors can stop complaining lol

I agree. You just can't get close enough to the pad when using a stand.

Not stupid at all. stands are great, but it affects your shoulder movements and distance from the drums. offworld makes an adapter to use a single pad on a carrier...I wouldn't think it would be too hard for them to do a tenor version

Wish I had seen this before I bought my Xymox. I had to wait 5+ months for the pad and I had to deal with Xymox's awful customer service.

Buying a xymox was honestly the best thing that you could do because there's no other pad quite like it, trust me a have the same black and blue tenor pad that's in the back ground and it sucks, so just stick with xymox because you already know what your gonna get and lets be honest, customizing your own pad is one of the best parts of getting a xymox so i say stick with a company that you can trust, and/or one that you already do trust. Sure there customer service isn't the best in the world, and sometimes they get your order wrong or they don't have the piece that you wanted but in the end they always send you the right part eventually, plus then you have a back up a spare but you'll all ways get what you wanted in the end it just may take a while but trust me, xymox makes one of the best and most high end pads right now so it'll be well worth it, trust me. Xymox is the way to go Why did I write all of this, Ahh who cares, I'm hungry, I'm gonna make a sandwich art 3:09 in the morning.

I've had this for about a year now and it is easily the best pad I have. A quad buddy of mine bought a xymox a month after I got mine and it's already starting to fall apart. I do recommend getting the laminates with it.
@faithn6051

Definitely better with laminates. The gum rubber grabs the stick, good for beginners but intermediate players have trouble sweeping. Amazing sound though

I must agree with the quantity of the laminate. The designs look really nice and all but feel bad, however the Carbon fiber, Kevlar, and hybrids feel great in my opinion

I have this pad, and besides the fact that the rims are annoying bc they’re loud af and aren’t exactly shaped like real rims, it’s a pretty solid pad.
