My dad wrote a book filled with multiple short stories about his childhood, totaling 290 pages in a 9x5 book layout. I added the full text of these stories to a notebook, and it provided answers to every question, connecting ideas and themes that were scattered throughout the book-picking up on thoughts that even my dad might not have noticed when he wrote it. And the podcast? You'd think he was a New York Times bestselling author based on the way it brought his stories to life.

The first time I tried it I was blown away. But the more I work with it the more I find the quality of the podcasts is hit or miss and they struggle with the same issues of all LLMs: hallucinations and unreliability. I wouldn't use this for a professional setting yet. But it's definitely promising.

This is phenomenal ... but it's a start. Unfortunately from the little testing I did, it is very restricted. I uploaded a very short article and the deep conversation spent the entirety of 8 minutes criticizing the concept and the unknown writer of the article for evoking emotions in readers 😄 without explaining a single point mentioned in the article. Apparently there are very strong biases baked in, as is expected.

Really, really interesting, Bob! I started messing around with this last week after I got an email from Google about it. One thing I noticed about it is that from time to time, spells out words instead of saying them, like "t o" and "t h e" and "i s". I kinda wonder if it's doing that because it's actually supposed to be a point of emphasis in the sentence, but it's not recognizing the emphasis command. I'm trying to figure out different and creative ways to use this to make money!!!
