Thanks for letting me know. The other day I asked this saleslady her name to report her to her management and she answered: Helen of Troy. But now you are saying she is actually dead.

@@gvjudd1289 Homer being the great story teller would certainly have embellished the skeleton with plenty of flesh and fat. Helen might just have been that. But as you point out, there were of course minor battles.

There were small battles between the Greeks and the Trojans. As my sister maintains these were for plunder. Not for women. There is every possibility that Homer writing in about 700 BCE added Helen for glamour. These wars were very similar to medieval Rajputs of Rajasthan where princes would attack neighbours for plunder. Or like Nagar attacking Baltistan whenever their crops failed. The battles/skirmishes are history, but how much embellishment was added by Homer is anyone's guess.

I would also like to tell you another true story. Alexandra Bridge, the railway bridge on the Chenab between Gujranwala and Gujrat districts had a signboard, now removed since many years, which read, "The Alexandra Bridge is named after Alexandra the Great, the then Chief Engineer of Pakistan Railways". It carried the name of some Qureshi chap at the bottom.
