Nice, you’re like me, willing to tackle almost anything. I’m pro-active for my HVAC unit, it’s only three years old but it’s never to early to have spare parts (new or used) on hand. Whenever I’m aware of scrap units of my brand through social media (locally) pick them up and take the caps, boards and fan motors out. Although CAPS are inexpensive new, so I have spares. I’m okay with changing any of these parts, cleaning the evaporator and condenser fins and cleaning clogged drain lines, but if it involves a refrigerant charge, I know enough to call for service. Nice work!

My air handler just stopped working tonight, and there was a weird smell coming from the intake as well. Thanks for the video. Unfortunately, my air handler is up in the attic, so I'll be calling a professional tomorrow.

Bro, I'm glad it worked out for you. Except you should test first. Make sure the motor is receiving proper high & low voltage. Because those boards go bad too. You can also ohm out the motor & check for a short. I follow your TV tech tips so just trying to pass on some of my hvac knowledge (been service tech for 8yrs in Tampa area)

Easy things u can do... 1. Use a wet vac and drain the outside pvc line near the outside AC unit 2. next replace air filter 3. Check for blown capacitors inside air handler and outside AC unit, ( I suggest AC tech to replace AC capacitor)

In the future when you align the blower wheel. It’s easier to set the blower flat on the housing and you can look down into the blower wheel and align it that way instead of wedging something to raise the blower wheel. But hopefully that motor lasts forever for you lol 👍🏻

@Patata0ke

You don't need hdmi cable when you want to mirror your display to your tv. You just need to enable mirror feature on your tv. Turn mirror option on your redmi phone and you're all set.
