I think the response was "Hey trainee you ever do that again I'll throw your stupid ass through the wall do you under stand me?". That same blue rope then threw the table in the day room the next day. haha good times, I'd do BMT over again in a heart beat.

331 Wolfpack Flight 293 March 4 2008. My MTI was SSgt Ramirez, a prior Marine who also had TSgt Fonseca shadowing him so my flight essentially had two MTIs. Memories, oh man....that amber glow of the pad lights. I know it sounds crazy but sometimes I honestly miss boot camp. Sure, I'd never do it again if given the chance but it's an experience I'm glad I went through and I'll never, ever forget it.

September 64 arrived at the airport late at night lined up in the hall at the airport under direction of a Ssgt., actually don't remember from that point till arriving at the old WW2 wooden open squad-bay barracks. Upon arrival was actually treated pleasantly by a bunch of E-3's and E-4's (this was under the old rank system) who told us to grab a bunk and try to get a couple of hours sleep, actually did grab a little sleep. Couple of hours later all HELL broke loose. Beginning of a FANTABULISTIC twenty-three years of service wearing three of the nations uniforms, four years as an Air Force Medic (902) separating in September 68 as an E-4 (at that time called Sgt.) then in January 69 joined the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman were I worked the Wards and was a an Aviation Medical Technician for 19 years and during that time also served with the Marines for over five years, wearing their uniform with Navy stripes for most of the time with them.

I didn't shit for a week and half when I first got there, heard that has to do with stress. When I did EC overnight people would get up in the middle of the night and stand at attention by their bed. They wouldn't answer when you talked to them or remember doing it the next day. The brain washing was real lol. Glad I went in and did my service to this great country but I'm also glad I'm a civilian now the military just wasn't for me. Some people love it though and will do 20 years in, most people get out after their 4/6 years is up. Biggest piece of advice I can give someone is DO NOT sign for six years the extra rank isn't worth it and you will make more if you sign up for 4 years reenlist and get a reenlistment bonus. If you sign up for six years and you hate well tough shit you are stuck lol. Glad I signed up for 4 and ended up getting out a year and half early honorably. Mad respect to anyone who has severed or is going to serve. God bless the United States military! Have fun at boot camp future Airmen, it's an experience that's for sure. You will quickly find out there everyone lives meal time to meal time, will make sense when you get there. You will also notice that the chow hall has the best food you have eaten in your life, but when you look back it was only the best food because you are always hungry. Going to beast and getting a MRE with candy in it is the best feeling ever. Plus if you have candy you can trade for anything. They don't allow you to drink the coffee that comes in the MRE though.

Must not be that stressful if your bowl movements were back to normal after just a week and a half. At USMC boot camp, its at least 3 weeks before you can take a douce normally. And then there's the yelling "aye aye sir" in your sleep. Or performing inspection arms in your sleep.
