Great video and thanks for posting. Keeping pest species under control is important, but I also enjoy the snippets of wildlife that you show too.

Hey up, Lee, thanks for vid, much enjoyed. Jackdaws, my new nemisis. A pair visitting my bird feed station when I'm not around, I can watch them on my CCTV. When I am around, they're on the roof, just popping their heads ova ridge tiles, watching. People in Brid are a bit funny about taking out jackdaws. Reason being, the original name for Bridlington, was Burlington, and them'ers born in the Old Town area are known locally as Borlington (pronounced with an "o") Jackdaws.

Hey Mr Corvid Hunter... Great video. One mature hunter to another, passing on improvement info. There's an improvement that you can do to that Gen - 2 tripod. Which I did to mine, like it a lot better As it is, that two fingered yoke is a bit wobbly, replace it with a hog trough. Unscrew that yoke save the bolt and washer. Replace it with like, oh a six (6) inch length piece with a three (3) inch diameter piece of PVC pipe. Cut it long ways in half, line the inside with some foam thin cut piece for padding. ( I use those foam pads that are used to protect pellets during shipment). Now use that bolt and washer you removed to take off the yoke, to attach the hog trough to the Gen - 2 tripod. Now it's that nice trough to place your air rifle in not wobbly at all. Like holding it in your hand. Getter done. Enjoy hunting better.

@CORVIDHUNTER Hi there I've recently watched your videos as I've looked at doing some pest control in my own garden as all the food I put out is ransacked by Corvids and driving the wild birds away. One thing you mention in this video is the "City Tree" how are you managing to do that to a public tree as I thought we weren't allowed. Just want to say great videos and great tips :-)

Here in South Africa they are called Pied Crows. They have got bigger and more numerous as they have got used to living off human rubbish. But they are still a major predator of eggs and chicks. I am a bird watcher and photographer but I HATE these birds. We drove from my home town of Citrusdal to Piketberg the other day and all you saw on the power lines were bloody Pied Crows!
