This video will show you how to convert the rear air suspension system to a coil spring system found in GM's line up OF mid sized SUV vehicles (Buick Rainer, Chevy Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Olds Bravada, Isuzu Ascender and Saab 9-7X). Air spring suspensions, when they're working properly, will auto adjust the rear ride height during tow operations and when packing heavy loads. If these situations are not applicable with your driving habits and a air spring malfunction have cause the rear end to sag, swapping out the air spring to coil springs is the simplest and cheapest repair you can do to get the ride height back up. Air spring repairs at the dealership can be very expensive; even if the defective part (air pump, air line or air spring) has been replaced. The vehicle's computer may require re calibration of the ride height to match the ride height of the front end. This can only be performed on GM's re calibration software or through a 3rd party's bi directional scan tool if the tool contains the re calibration software. The easiest fix is to purchase a spring conversion kit for around $100 and swap out the air springs. You can, if you want, continue using the old shock absorbers if they're still viable.
