You won’t see any of that. Up to 67deg bank like in this video is in normal flight envelope. This aircraft won’t let you bank more than that unless u turn off some flight computers. And as for the terrain, when they expect to fly this close with landing gear retracted they can be muted with one switch.

Honestly, most of them probably already had the chance. About half of them are ex-military in any case, and even if they weren't, they would have started on smaller aircraft with aerobatic capabilities long before moving on to big multi-engine passenger aircraft. Also I think some aerobatic skill is mandatory at some point in the training.

Very nice. The thrust out of those engines is incredible and the plane is very agile. The music was a propos (Europe, after all, quite classy) but the editing and zoom could use some work. It would have been great to see it pull a 1G barrel roll but the corporate suits and lawyers shit themselves if you even bring the subject up, in spite of the fact that the first Boeing 707 did one on its first demo flight way back when. I'm sure these birds could handle it no problem.

Hands up, whom thinks too much zoom KILLS a flight video totally? You loose all reference and can't tell at all how the plane is performing when you don't see the surroundings. It feels like you're looking at a still 3D model, which turns and tosses about. It's not a bad video per se.. and definitely not the only airshow clip that has the same problem. In fact I think MOST airshow videos do. I could understand if you took close zoom footage of the plane for a moment when it sits on the runway waiting for take off, for example, but I really do not understand what is it that is so great about keeping the zoom so close, that you can actually count the rivets on the fuselage (do they still use them? :D). In any case,I want this to be a constructive feedback.
@fingerhorn4
5 жыл бұрын
Yes I agree. Too many videos consider extreme zoom to be some kind of superior filming technique. It's not. On the other hand some other videos display an absurdly wide angle too. The problem is that many film makers are more interested in what is possible rather than thinking about what makes a decent film clip and what best communicates the ambience of what you are trying to capture. I feel the same about music played at fireworks and indeed this demonstration. Everyone feels they are compelled to add unneccesary effects that just detract from the story the films are trying to tell. I hardly go to any airshows nowadays owing to the overbearing music that ruins the experience.

Unbelievable! Only thing it didnt do was land on a carrier lol. It would've been nice if the cameraman/woman would've zoomed out rather than zoomed in so closely. It would've given us as viewers a better frame of reference having either the ground or horizon in the shot. Phenomenal piloting! 🙏👏

@TWTR4EVER
7 жыл бұрын
With all due respect Aaron Roosing, I don't think "moron" is well suited to any highly skilled aeronautical groups of engineers that bring to production well respected commercial aircrafts either at Boeing or Airbus! As a pilot the argument of fly by wire or completely computerized is one for the text books, each one can have their affinity to either one, both are highly respected and implemented!
@screwbottle
7 жыл бұрын
Sarah Ward - Why do you insult and refer to the Airbus flight system as a game controller. It's superior in it's function and space reduction, to the yoke of Boeing, due to it being fly by wire. Even Boeing themselves are starting to use fly by wire and one will see the traditional yoke disappear, as it becomes superfluous as a space hogging controller in a modern day flightdeck.These HOTAS (Hands On Throttle and Stick) systems are being used in many fighter systems all over the world including what comes out of Boeing. And it's now being found in small to medium GA. Just go look at the Lancair models available, as an example. I see your picture shows you sitting in a old style GA aircraft, so your experience is that of a yoke system attached to cables and hydraulics, that is representative of the age of the aircraft you are in, and your experience and possibly why you responded as you did.
