im seeing used phenom 100 from 2010 for like 1.5 million and it gives me hope that i'd actually be able to afford one one day, especially with a career as a pilot funding it

You wont be able to afford any Phenoms or flight school while sitting at home playing video games . . .

Beautiful aircraft, just wish it had a hair more range. You should include operating costs.

Dont know exactly how the smoke detection works (i dont even know if it does) on the Phenom but its not unusual to smoke in biz jets. But i would never recommend anyone to smoke on bord of an aircraft. If something goes wrong it could turn into a very ugly situation.

Video uploaded 1 day ago and the specifications are not in metric. Had to go look for another review that did not use obsolete units . . .

Oh god I’m SO sorry that you had to do your OWN research on something, news flash, if someone is doing the work for you, you don’t get to complain unless you are paying for them to do it. Even Embraer puts feet and inches on their website for their plane specs because these small planes are not flying internationally out of the US anyways unless they go to Canada or Mexico.

@@mindlesspear8840 These are sold around the world. The fact that you don't appreciate that or even realise that there are different Embraer corporate websites for each global and language region confirms that you know not what you are talking about. It's a metric world, get over it . . .

"obsolete units"? Do you know at least one thing about aviation? Most likely you don't. Because anyone who knows something about it has no problem understanding what these numbers mean. Aviation is measured in knots, nautical miles, feet and pounds anywhere on the planet. These are international standards, get over it . . . Sometimes fuel may be measured in gallons also. In metric countries kilograms and liters may sometimes be used BUT only as reference. You still have to do all calculations in standard units. I live and fly in a metric country, but if I would see metric units in aviation I will be very surprised and puzzled. You probably don’t even know that manuals for any aircraft are usually prohibited from being translated into other languages from English, since this is another standard. And please, stay away from the world of seamanship and nautical navigation for your metric brain would explode.

@@TRPGpilot Ha-ha:)) You are a great example of “When you have nothing constructive to say back just try to insult In a futile attempt to hide your bruised ego.” But like all such people, you look just foolish :)) Get a life, man.
