Heck yeah dude! Nice shooting! One small critique (slow mo shots tell on everyone), I’ve shot long range with centerfire rifles for about 5 years now, try to smooth your trigger pull and focus on pulling straight back with the pad of your finger while having a light, but firm grip on the stock. I think that was at play with those two shots around 120 yards on that squirrel where it hit high and then low. Looking forward to more of these!!

That was some great shooting. I love hunting these little buggers I just put the ATN X-sight pro on my gauntlet 30 it’s got the ABL ballistic computer on it and it’s like cheating I love it…pin point accuracy I have taken coyotes with it using 49 gn NSA slugs out to 150 yards. With the ATN on it I might have tried that coyote at 195y, shot placement is everything hunting them with an air gun We get lots of them around our place in north Texas, wild pigs too but haven’t had the chance to try it on one yet. I need to get a shot inside 100 yards to see how well it works on pigs. I’m told it will work great out to 150y

Great shooting day i also shoot hunt ground squirrels on my mom's property in Somis, Ca using my Beeman RX .22, & Beeman Kodiak .25 air rifles. Even use .22 cb short for fast action with Browning BL-22 lever action likes cb short because of the limited noise factor for neighbors. I hate poison applications because it kills hawks, owls, bob cats, and other birds of prey.

Ive always wanted to dabble in the PCP world. The gauntlet 2 is the one ive been considereing the most in 30cal. I habe about 8 tins of 22cal that i did not sell when i sold my previous 22. Anyway not writing a book. But my main questions are do you fill your gauntlet with a hand pump or did you invest in a colpressor? Have you shot slugs out of it yet? If so what ines have you found gice the best accuracy and at what power setting?

Good shooting! Missing is part of hunting & shooting. As for your calling, at least you got him to stop. Does the G2 30 have an adjustable hammer spring? If you shoot this property often, I'd go back set up some paper or steel on that path/road where the coyote was (200 yds) and figure out your dope and make a dope card for future opportunities. At minimum, I'd look at the chair gun app as its free and while not the best air gun shooting app, it works. I use it and it will get me very close at 200 yards using my .308 Texan. The .308 Texan should be very coyote lethal at 200 yards. Using a 120 grn slug, it make over 240 fpe at muzzle & puts over 175 fpe on target at 200 yds. This is not the max power for the gun but a tune that produces very good accuracy at 100 to 200 yards. Max power comes using heavier lead and is above 270 fpe. Below is a video I made after some AEA Challenger enthusiasts told me there 30 cal challengers were more accurate/powerful at 1/2 the price of my Texan. I have nothing against AEA air guns and the Zeus lineup is probably the highest FPE rifles you can buy. But I don't believe this to be true of the 30 cal offerings even though the 30 has been advertised as such.... I'm not worried about the power claim but I did hope someone would make a video in response to mine showing a 10 shot string at 200 yds, showing both hits and misses. Even more importantly, I wanted to establish the theoretical efficacy of using the .308 on coyote size game with an 6-8" kill zones out to 200 yards. Could the rifle be trusted to repeatably make hits in a 6-8" kill zone at that distance? I'm shooting my own cast slug (Lee 120 gr RN .309 mold) made from wheel weights and weight sorted to .5 grns of each other. The slugs have been lubed & run through a .309 sizing die and my .308 Texan loves them! These slugs are sub 3 MOA (3") at 100 yds all day long on a bad day! On a good day, 1MOA. The shots were taken untethered and the gun refilled with air after every 2 to 3 shots. Again, the question could I trust my .308 to put every shot into the kill zone with me behind the trigger? below is what I found out in that test.... Note: if you own an AEA in any caliber and would like to make a 10 shot string video at 200 yds, please do. I think it would be fun and possibly even educational on some level. .308 Texan - Long Range Lethal? 10 shots, 10" steel, how many hits? kzitem.info/news/bejne/qJ1p22qHcamqrWU .308 Texan - 100 yard groups - Lee 120 Mold using WW lead kzitem.info/news/bejne/xW-DrqGpf32Ffm0

Ya probably a little loud and maybe a little bit too much power. Especially if one of the rounds accidentally gets away from you. It could be quite deadly. The 22cal air venturi may be a good option. 👍
