My road bike has Presta valves. The connector doesn't seem to attach very tightly to the bike tire valve. It gets up to 15psi , that's as high as it gets. It sounds like air is blowing out around the valve instead of going into the tire. I went back to using my good old trusty floor pump.

I have a Makita 18 V pump, it's bigger than this pump and more for the car and the workshop than for carrying in a backpack with the bike, but I like it. You adjust the pressure you want and it pumps until the pressure is reached, and stops then. Since I already had the 18 V battery System from them the pump alone wasn't that expensive

Fully agree - I have tried dozens of electric pumps over the years: for road bikes, MTBs, cars. The Makita one is a category of its own. I usually take it with me when I drive with my car and the bike in, pump when I arrive and hit the trails. Most of my friends know I have it and always use it when we are together lol

I’m pretty new to road biking, and I have yet to successfully inflate a tube with a co2 pump. This pump is very intriguing to me.

A car tire would kill the pump. They only work till they get so hot the piston gasket wears out. Bike tires ok. More than 2 min and the outlet tube even gets hot.
