I watched this on my way to my first ever airsoft game. The only one I remembered was the “keep your gun pointed in front of you at all times”, I rented out this heavy AF gun and now my arms are so freaking sore🥲 (as well as my legs) but I had a amazing time and I will definitely be going back!!!

My advice for shooting at players at any range (as in, not airsoft CQB) is to shoot 3-5 rounds, semi-auto, center mass. It should ensure you hit your opponent, but avoids over shooting them. Obviously if you're punching through cover, shoot more, though I think still avoid full auto because it allows you to get off the trigger faster once they call hit, and means there are fewer rounds in flight when they do. Close range, you can fire literally a couple rounds, center mass. Head shots are for when you don't have a choice. Head shots hurt more, plenty of people don't wear full face protection, and even if they do, a shot to the ear or neck still hurts much more than a shot to say, the arm.

In the case of communication, quite a lot of the airsoft community are gamers. If you can callout in cod you can in airsoft. Use the same comms

Phil used a killflash that was designed for his optic, but you can also cut a piece of lexan to fit and tape it to the optic as a quick solution. Finally, evike has rail mounted protectors.
