That second post tells me a few things: 1 - Redditors are largely unemployed and think that anyone normal who has a job also has the time and energy to be doing a physically demanding task like reorganizing a whole library on a whim 2 - have no fucking idea how long it takes and how laborious it is to reorganize and clean a library. Depending on the size that shit can take whole days 3 - Think that pregnant women are always right. Like, brother if she wants to eat like a peanut butter sandwich with ketchup and bananas, sure why the hell not. But if she wants me to do a task that would take a whole day or more despite me being tired and busy with work, I'm sorry but that shit isn't gonna happen, especially if it's not a useful task, she's just gonna have to tough it out for a bit and distract herself with other stuff

When it comes to allergies and relationships it depends how allergic you are. My mum is allergic to nuts and my parents don't have them in the house. But my dad eats nuts on occasion and she isn't so allergic that it's a problem. As another example, I wouldn't date someone allergic to cats. I want to keep my cat and be able to get another one. It's just a basic incompatibility. Sounds like seafood is equally important to her. I think she's doing enough and he has to decide if it's such a bother they're incompatible.

People can be allergic to shellfish (for example) and yes it can be life-threatening. My Aunt is allergic and had Chinese food at a resteraunt and had an allergic reaction because the cooks cooked the seafood in the same pans as the other food. However to be so allergic that kissing triggers it? Lke what if she washes her mount out with mouthwash, is it still a problem? That sounds kind of fake to me. But the dentist should be washing their hands and such, so that comparison doesn't make sense.

I agree that full on refusing to look up a single game result on a flight is an a•hole move. However I very much appreciate the comment about helping someone becoming constant harassment. I was in a vehicle accident and have permanent injuries, so I'm on disability and live in a building with half elderly and half disabled people, and while many of them are perfectly normal people... The ones who tend to linger around the public areas of this building are desperate, clingy and if you give them a single inch of attention they will absolutely chew every mile out of your life they can. I'm not trying to be cold hearted, but I am a social person and used to occasionally relax in the social areas. But I literally had to stop because they wouldn't take any of my social cues about boundaries. So yeah, there ARE some people who actively try to BE pathetic, instead of trying to do things for themselves that an adult should actually be able to do. I know once that I realized this is a thing, that i generally can see them coming a mile away, and maybe this guy performed an asshole move to avoid it.

I’m so confused about the verdict on the swimming one. “I was going to say NTA until I realized that your brother’s gf (and potentially brother too?) may have actually had an ulterior motive when asking, because they are so weird about her wearing a swimsuit. You’re NTA, they’re TA, therefore YTA” I was sorta with you till the end there, but the verdict for what they described is called NTA! Just because it’s *not* NAH, doesn’t make it YTA 😵💫 At the very least give it a ESH, with the exception of the swimmer.

Hold up. Where in the post does she say it was two weeks? I think that's an important distinction. If it really was that long, then I'm on her side. If you keep saying you'll do something over the course of two weeks and still haven't done it, I'd also stop waiting, but I had kind of assumed this whole thing was inside of a single day... The post doesn't say anything about a time frame so I'm confused where they got that from.
