One of the most sophisticated bands, one of the greatest albums. I love steely Dan and I was born after Gaucho. One could study only them and become a great musician.

As a guitarist I can say JOSIE is the easiest to play...maybe that's why they love playing it. Steely Dan music is great no doubt but the hype of what they allegedly went through,in the studio, isn't the Mark of greatness. Could it be the LACK of it...or just micromanagement that borders on the anal.
