Thinking of buying a Force. Clicked this video. Thought "what's the ipad all about?" Then you started showing the signal path on the ipad and I was immediately convinced that your channel is what I need. You know what you are talking about AND most importantly how to communicate. Unlike most other "producer" channels who are just chancers full of wind with no deeper understanding of what they are talking about. They think just talking smooth makes their channel worth subs. No. Not by my standards. I will be subbing, liking and commenting on all your videos. Bravo. And thank you. Ben (Bristol, UK)

Totally love this. Finally really using my Force now that our mixers can be plugged in. Completely ditched the laptop. Using Force as Master Clock and all audio tracks, with my Zoom L20r as the audio interface, Machinedrum, Mc 707, Radias, and Digitone Keys. Love the set up and these lessons are so useful. I’m splitting sequences duties between the digitone and Force and Sipario midi router tied everything together.

I might be wrong, but I think you have the Q value backwards when you were cutting out the 70hz from the bass. I think a higher Q makes a more narrow band and wouldn't affect as wide of a frequency band.

Funny enough the only part I wanted to see, you just skiped the video. Well I couldnt find the submixes 1-8 channels anywhere, I just found out that we have to moove left with the arrows in the master mixer screen. And there they are. In case some one comes here with the same problem as I, here it is the skiped part subtitles!!

I'm struggling with this also. I press the master button, in the screen the text says showing master tracks, but nothing appears (the mixer keeps showing tracks), I press the left arrow and nothing. Do i have to add master tracks? can't seem to find how to see send effects, submixes etc. Thanks!

Super basic question that i cant seem to fins the answer to. Can you route individual tracks to different outputs on the force? Like kick to output 3 only, snare to output 4 etc? Im assuming they would have to be on separate tracks and not just in one drum group but im not sure. My force doesnt arrive for a few days so i cant test it out and figure out for myself yet haha

One major limitation is chaining sub mixes. You cannot have a drums sub and bass sub mix and mix them together in a sub 😐 That’s how you make a super tight mix. Oh well.

Yep that would be cool, maybe it’ll come in a future firmware update. Fingers crossed!

I am a total noob ...is it better to find the fundamental freq of the kick and eq other low end tracks around it, or to use a side chained ducking compressor? Thanks! And great videos!
@MaxipokMusic
4 ай бұрын
I normally try and get it sounding right with EQ, and treat the side chain ducking as a creative effect if I want, if that makes sense? I found this video very helpful for sorting the low end out with EQ: kzitem.info/news/bejne/rqmKxa2gqWeco34si=js7K4YiGtHHbuuuK

Hi Andy, how did you get to the Sub mix mixer page after assigning the sub mix channels?
@MaxipokMusic

Hi! Just hit the mixer button, and then swipe left on the touchscreen and you will get to them. I think they will also show up if he hit the mixer button, and then the ‘master’ button in the bottom left corner of the pads.

Hi Andy, I’m trying to get my 3 drum tracks all tied to the same beat repeat macro. Is putting the 3 drum tracks into a sub mix and then adding a macro to that sub mix the best way to do this?
@MaxipokMusic
4 ай бұрын
Yep that’s how I would do it. Just need to remember that if you record your performance, you need to manually enable automation write on the sub mix, as the global control in the arranger doesn’t cover them for some mystifying reason!
