until now, the world still knows who made AKB48 famous. It's not just their songs, or Akimoto Yasushi, or through promotions or ads. Its these girls. Even if they're the top of the bunch, we shouldn't discredit nor forget the other members who were with them between the start, until the time each of them on this video started graduating one after the other. It's no surprise fans clamor to still see them in AKB48 until today. Now, the new generation's charm is too spread out, that I don't even see the same shine and charisma that the golden generation had. Even if Jurina, Yuihan Sasshi and Yukirin (soon to graduate), and Miichan are the only ones left, it still feels that no one in this generation will ever beat that era. With some up and rising members going to PD48, who else will be left in Akihabara? I would understand that if other sister groups can take the helm, and keep the boat sailing among 48 and 46 groups, It could be bearable to leave it all in the past, and just say it's part of history. In this side of the world, these are the girls who had made a great impact among people, both anti and pro, local and foreign. Unless anyone from the current roster can even match up to their legacy, one thing remains true: if it weren't for them, AKB48 will just be another idol girl group.

I think their now a days generation trying their best but the energy is not like yhe energy from the ex generation. The ex generation are very hardworking and didicated but im not saying new generation in not hard working and didicated. Everything idols from 2000 to 2010 to 2014 are different from idols from 2015 to 2020 idols in 2000 to 2010 to 2014 are closer to the idols of 1900's to 1999. Look at everything like kpop idols, thai pop, chinese pop, or even in hollywood idols. You can see that idols in the past are real idols compare now a days

no spirit and effort? smh they didn't break their legs dancing to nemohamo rumor to get this kind of disrespect. the thing is, they got mismanaged as hell. the management was relying too much on popular old gen member so their regeneration is kinda slow. For example like miu and hiichan, they recently got pushed by management even though it's already their 8th year, even acchan graduated in her 7th year. so imo i think akb new generation just need a new hit song to stay relevant in general public's eyes.

Dean Lee What’s wrong with this generation? Which I don’t really know about cause this is my first time seeing AKB48. I discovered them through Produce 48 I know you miss the past generations. Believe me, I can relate. I miss the 2nd genration of kpop too and no Ig 3rd generation as well since we’re transforming into the 4th with all the new styles of music coming out but that doesn’t matter now. What matters is we should be grateful for what we’ve got. Let the New generation shine!💗

I think it’s because the generation is new and someone’s change is kinda weird at first. When 2nd generation kpop ended and we got into 3rd gen, most of the peeps thought it was lame too, but honeslty. I really isn’t, it was cool and awesome and we also get to see a lot of new and fresh styles form all these new and different groups and members. If we didn’t change, we would have missed out of a lot of things... so I think it’s worth giving the new generation of AKB48 a go.
