Tired of paying huge amounts for Akebono Calipers?....guess what, you can buy REAL Akebonos that are reman'd and save ALOT of money.
For those that want to believe that used ones are the only way to go, that's fine as well. This is an update for those that want to research and not be ripped by off by online companies making a huge profit margin
PLEASE READ:
DIY Akebono caliper from Nissan 370z to fit on a L31 Chassis Altima 2002-2006. Using a Rotor not from a 370z but rather a Evo 10 Lancer 350mm to clear. If you look up specs online on various rotors you can find the right one without having to modify your setup.
IF you have another vehicle, I'm not a parts dismantler and won't have the exact knowledge if it fits your exact car if I have not listed it.
Alot of parts interchange and there is a great change this would work on you Nissan. Rotor size, adapter, caliper combos are really up to the driver, followed by research and determination.
Parts:
Via Rock Auto (prices may vary by the time you get these)
Calipers: Cardone 196.232 & 196.234
300zx (Z32) to Akebono Bracket (www.ebay.com/i...)
Pads: Really up to you (need to be for the 370Z Nismo (akebono) calipers
Rotor: Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X 350mm rotor
