Feeling a bit lost with the modular malarky at the moment. My momentum seems to have gotten knocked. (I'm blaming it on the hangover from being super excited to getting a new album out to then falling off a cliff - metaphorically speaking.) I'm trying not to go down the usual routes of production with the same sounds. (It's crazy to actually have a signature 'sound' with modular considering the vast number of variations in the box. Would someone else sound different on my system?)
I turned to a few modules in a case that I don't tend to use too much because they don't fit in my live cases. They got neglected because for a long while I only wanted to produce with what I could play live. So featuring in this track are Akemie's Taiko (love that module) and the Turing (also love that module).
There's a lot more space in this track than what I would normally leave - even at that it's still pretty busy. Might try and cut it back again.
My gear comes from the following most excellent module manufacturers: 2hp, ALM, bastl, befaco, doepfer, dpw, erica synths, expert sleepers, happy nerding, intellijel, instruo, make noise, mutable instruments, noise engineering, rms, tiptop audio, winter audio and wmd.
