'gf' stands for gram-force so you are indeed correct on that one. Especially appreciate the fact that you didn't use the PE sheet for switch testing, since it alters the individual switch sound significantly. Great review!

Great videos! I would love to see some more reviews on Akko or budget switches/keyboards that are much more accessible to beginners. As well as comparing budget switches to high end switches to see how they match up! Keep up the quality content.

I got my akko silver a month ago and they sound good when lubed. I do not know why they sound like that in the video. The reason that I could think of is that he is bad at lubing switches

The Akko radiant red also sound very good unlubed. I dont have any experience with typing a full keyboard with them but Akko did send me a few switches just to check out and they sound pretty similar to the jelly silvers.

the akko cs silvers for me are one of the best budget linears in the game right now. they're just sooo good stock + long poles which really help with new comers having NF keyboards.

Dude not only did you review the switches I was planning on buying, but also in the keyboard (KBD67Lite) AND with the ASA keycap profile I'd be using. Hero!

My Akko 5075b dracula edition doesn’t seem to come with the black novelties, only the red ones. Are the black novelty keys and regular red spacebar/backspace only from the actually keycaps set?

ur typing harder on the silver, but the total travel is only 3mm, hence u bottom out faster. the akko black total travel is 4mm.

is the silvers prone to accidental keypress? Im worried that its too light
@Ashjo
2 жыл бұрын
Personally, I don't have a problem with it! I can rest my fingers on it without it registering a keypress. Unless you have really heavy hands 45gf really isn't that bad! Type-wise, I don't really have a problem with it, I still have pretty good accuracy (around 98% average and 115 wpm average speed on monkeytype) it really all depends on preference, you might like heavier switches more if you type harder or light switches if you're a light typist. I chose light switches since heavy switches are pretty tiring after a period of time.
@Ashjo

Judging by your keyboard video, you own outemu (?) red switches which also have 45gf. Switching over to silvers shouldn't be a problem!

On the Akko website the character keys of the Dracula set look gray-ish, but in the video they look pretty white. What would you say the color is in real life? Does it lean more to white or lean more to being gray?
@killakeyboards1945

More towards the grey :) I think my lighting makes it look more white

@@killakeyboards1945 It's not just you man, try to image search for the keycap set. Only on the official/promotional poctures of Akko they look grey, but they look white on all real-life build pictures lol. Anyways, I decided to pick up the ASA Psittacus set instead. Those are grey for sure and also the only ASA profile with Hiragana, which looks pretty cool imo. Thanks for clarifying though! I had contact with Epomaker support about this and they were not helpful at all answering this simple question.
