I literally checked if I accidentally muted the video when it came to the "sound" test. There was NO sound at all. Very nice!

Lol! And that's because I raised the volume a bit too

Preston's Thoughts: Here's a quick sound test of how they sound *begins typing on keyboard* Me: have I lost my hearing? Also, how do they avoid the mushiness (or the feeling like a membrane keyboard) that I hear from complaints regarding other "silent switches"?

I'm no expert, but I think it depends on the silicone dampeners they use/the quality of them? Not 100% sure, but then again I haven't used a lot of silent switches so I could be wrong

Im strongly considering getting these switches for my first custom keyboard. Is it a good idea to lube them despite them having factory lube already on them, or should I just leave them the way that they are? If lube is the go-to, what lube would anyone recommend? Any advice appreciated 😁

Hi! Can you tell me which has a more pronounced bump? WS silent tactiles or this?

Will these work with an RGB keyboard? i.e. will light pass through a pudding keycap?
@PrestonsThoughts

It will but it won't be as bright as a clear switch

are they less mushy than ws silent tactiles?

Hmmm I'd say slightly but they felt similar imo just that these were nicer to type on right out of the box compared to ws silent

What would you recommend for an alternative tactile switch for heavier typists please? 🤔

If you still want a silent switch, I would go for the gazzew U4 silents. If you don't want/need a silent switch go for a set of Drop pandas or Anubis by mechs on deck. I prefer heavier switches and use all three regularly

Do these work on all keyboards?

What silence mechanism are these using?

it's a silicone dampener on the stem of the switch

Well... That silence is not good, in my opinion. They are more loud that outemu silent peach / lime

I raised the volume a bit so you could actually hear them also sound tests are 100% as the keyboard you put the switches in plays a big factor when it comes to sound

@@PrestonsThoughts I have Haze pink switches, and they are... very loud. I disassembled switch and silicon dampener is very hard. Outemu had got more soft dampeners and as result, they are very better as silent switches. But... They are very sandy, and quality is below normal
