Episode kali ini kita interview Hamiem, seorang financial advisor yang mengamalkan ajaran Shia. Betel ke apa yang kita dental pasal Shia deka social media? Kenapa kena solat atas batu?
Salaamu'alaikum! First I want to applaud the host for giving a platform to talk about Shi'ism. It's brave considering that usually this topic is taboo and may invite harsh criticism from a majority of the Sunni brethren. It's also brave of the brother to share his experiences, even the uncomfortable ones, a lot of which I can relate as a Shiah Malay Muslim myself growing up among the majority Sunni brethren in Singapore and Southeast Asia. I'd like to suggest and invite the host to open the platform to speak with other Shia Muslims in Singapore too. Just like any other group, we are a diverse group of people with different opinions and subtle distinctions. Not discounting the brother's personal experiences, I feel there could be other more informed perspectives from more experienced Shia Muslims in Singapore that can give deeper understanding. We do have a young Shia Ustaz in Singapore who went through seminary education in Iran, and also elders who went through interesting experiences in the 70's and 80's when they converted from Sunni to Shia. There were also brothers and sisters who became Shia in their 20's and 30's after doing their research in the 2010's. Or Shia brothers and sisters who are very involved actively in interfaith and intrafaith initiatives in Singapore. I'm also happy to connect you with these individuals in the Singapore Shia community for you to befriend and converse with. Maybe your next episode interviewing a Shia can be titled: "Aku Shiah DAN Muslim" :) I believe now it is more important than ever to promote authentic understanding among Muslim groups, and we need to unite more than ever in these challenging times.

Assalamua’laikum, thank you for giving a platform for local Shi’a discussion. No disregard for the brother’s personal journey but there are some inconsistencies that have to be clarified with scholars for better understanding. And to the host, it’s okay to refer to Shi’as as Shi’as, it shouldn’t be divisive and doesn’t make a Shi’a less of a Muslim. Thank you.

He did not know many things and gave wrong answers to certain questions, his views are not representative of the Shia Imamiyah school.

Salam, With all due respect, the 'shia' brother is not qualified to speak on shiism and is ignorant on many topics. His views and opinions is fringe and not representative of shiism and he made many mistakes in his statements. For example, he has not understood the basic principle of imamah and therefore, he mentioned himself that he rejected the azadari of Imam Husein a.s based on weak argumentation and opinions like it is not in the Quran or in the sunnah of Rasulullah (s). This implies that the majority of shias are practising something that deviates from the Holy Quran and sunnah which is untrue. This is dangerous as it will rather cause more fitnah and misunderstanding amongst muslims and this works both ways. I would rather encourage the viewers to take his words with a pinch of salt and contact local shia alims who are accredited and recognised to have a more balanced and correct understanding of shiism for the sake of justice to this topic.
