Al Conroy had a well known printing business called 'Stella Press' in Kilbride Street, from 1958 until his retirement in 2001. During that time he printed everything from tickets to showband posters.
In 1972 he became a registered gun dealer and expanded the business into selling firearms and ammunition, while further expanding into angling supplies in the 1980's.
One constant with Al, was that he always carried a small camera with him, and during the years he photographed many of the locals in the town.
This video - moderated by Michael Byrne - covers a sample of the photos he took through those years.
