Of the great tunes I’ve enjoyed from my youth growing up in the 70’s and 80’s….”Midnight Rocks” is one of ultimate favs. Next to “Time Passages”. Al seemed like I would’ve loved to hang out with and play music with friends here in Hawaii. Man, I miss those 70’s and 80’s🎼🎵🎶❤️✌🏾🤘🏾🤙🏾

I came upon this old video just as I was about to open a bottle of Tobin James wine. Both video and wine were an unexpected treat! Great to see Al getting to exercise his expertise in vino!

First time I've hear this song (despite having followed him from the Weeley festival. Love the way he's remained "down to earth" even to taday.

I learned some interesting tips about wine. There was some good understated humor being tossed around.

If all of Al's band is there (minus the string section), why wouldn't networks let them actually play? I've always wondered this, particularly with top notch live bands like Al's.

Yep - when I posted this on the Al Stewart Fans and Bandmates Facebook group, I tagged Peter and he replied - he had never seen the footage before and had forgotten that they actually played this show! It was nice that he was able to watch this for the first time over 40 years later!

Not even a wire or a lead plugged in to give at least a semblance of this not being a play over lol.
