Damn this is good. You need to write a book. That part about the bakery was beautiful.

Hey man, I enjoy your videos. Cool thing is you’re in the Bay Area too. I’m just starting out with car camping and still figuring things out. Hope to get out there soon.

Very cool! The best way to figure it out is to just get out there and do it! You learn what you need and what you don't the more times you do it, so just get out there! One suggestion is to try it out somewhere close to home first, that way if you feel uncomfortable/forgot something/need to bail you can just go home easily, and then ramp up your adventures from there! Thanks for watching, and if you want more insight on my camping setup, check out this video on how I set up the Rav4 for an excursion: kzitem.info/news/bejne/y4euvISEhaJ-iWk.

Love this kind of videos ! I’ve been wanting to go there so badly. But I car camp in a small hatchback. I don’t think I can make it all the way there

Yeah Jonny there are definitely parts of Alabama Hills that are accessible even to lower-clearance passenger cars! Most of the roads are passable to normal cars and they indicate which roads require higher-clearance and/or 4x4
