One thing among many that I found intriguing is that he often mentioned that we're all emotionally damaged in some sort of way. I know it to be true of myself, but as a father having the needs and cares if my children in mind, I have to wonder how it can be that EVERYONE suffers from some form of emotional injury. Or that we're all idiots of a sort, or that the state os somehow inescapable? Is it truly the norm that as humans we are All bound to be ill adjusted individuals, or suffer from some state of mental instability? Or does there exists anywhere those who are legitimately well adjusted mentally stable people? However few they may be. I'm interested.

I think it's a part of being human and even if you had the best most loving childhood, it's impossible to be completely shielded from everything that might affect you. It's rarely got anything to do with the amount of money or love growing up. Too much protecting a child can make them unable to face the world, but not enough love isn't exactly a great alternative. I think the key is being able to reflect, communicate and talk thru your issues whatever they may be, to become who you want to be and be happier with your past.

Realistic thinking That's how evil starts. Whit lots of unadressed and internalized worry... and than grief... and then anger... and then... evil.
