After taking the decision not to write for Marvel Comics ever again (as told in the first part of our fight trilogy: • A TRETA de ALAN MOORE ... ), Alan Moore was invited by the legendary editor Len Wein to collaborate with DC Comics.
From 1983 to 1988 Moore wrote for some of the main titles of the Publisher of Legends, like Superman, Batman and Green Lantern, reimagined Swamp Thing and turned it into a comic book classic, finished V for Vendetta and revolutionized the whole industry with Watchmen... And this seemed to be only the beginning of the flood of ideas coming from the mind of the bearded magician… Until some big fish from the publisher started to bother him. This is the story told in today’s episode of Gossip & Ink!
Furthermore, we also comment on the complications Moore had when Jim Lee sold his share of Image (WildStorm Productions) to DC in the 1990s, complicating the imprint America’s Best Comics that Moore had just set up for him. It’s a never ending fight!
