In an interview with Taylor Hawkins, he states that he was given the opportunity to audition and after 3 months had passed, he received a call and of course the job as drummer with the band. In addition, he mentions that Alanis opened the door for him to succeed and let loose with his drummer skills. After the world tour was over, Grohl approached him and the rest is history. Interesting he also mentions, 'If it wasn't for Morissette, I would still be a pizza delivery driver".

He doesn't have to be the best, he just has to sound good. BUT, I have learned that a lot of these rock drummers are much more versatile then you see or hear on record. Steve Smith, for example, the former Journey drummer is a very talented jazz drummer as well. So while it may appear that Morissette's drummer is just keeping time with a fairly simple rhythm, he is much more versatile then he appears as he is playing to the song and not the crowd.

Great funky tune. The Bass is grooving and Taylor Kicking the hell out of it. So much emotion in her voice

I think this pain is very real. I've had to deal with a few crazy chicks in my day. Nothing is off the table. Cool song. Based on real hurt. That is what I hear

Can't reply to comments for some reason, but just like to say ... jeez, there are some idiots down there below this. This is a great performance, and Ms Morissette is highly talented. And easy on the eye ...... oh lord, I gave myself away .....

Are there any words befitting for this outstanding, powerfully intense performance? I can't think of any. Just wow!
