I've used Alaska Piks for the past 20 years, and really like them. I have been a fan of Peter Finger since Detleff & Finger back in the 1980s, and it's good to see still playing so well.

Sehr gut danke. Ich dachte mir erst "so ein Müll" als sie ankamen, sind ständig abgerutscht usw, nicht zu gebrauchen. Musste letztendlich wirklich sehr viel daran herumwerkeln, aber jetzt passen deutlich besser!

I use them and they are fantastic. Save my nails on long tours. :)

Imho, they sound too "warm," for lack of a better term. Kinda dull, actually. I think you actually kinda lose something. They don't sound as good as natural nails, -- that is, good, *strong*, natural nails.... But, let's face it, not all of us have good strong nails, and as any finger picker knows, it is just about if not altogether impossible to keep up a good daily regimen of practice and still be able to maintain a properly manicured set of nails at the right shape and length, so, the Alaska picks are at least a good substitute in that regard - i.e. They're better than nothin' :)
